Judicial improvement begins with prisoners' wellbeing. Unfortunately since covid prisoners are locked in their cells for more than 23 hours a day for months at a time.
We are determined that an intervention strategy on cell-based creative art has the potential to offer mental health benefits and reduce rates of violence.
our project
- Our project will give participants a choice to learn how to use AKAI standalone MPC player or a laptop with up to date music making software. This project gives inmates the tools to enhance their creative mindset in music making therefore we can publish and showcase the material, provide feedback and give them a chance to receive a financial reward.
We are looking for:
- Those seeking change
- Above and beyond enhanced prisoners
- Those with strong Interested in music production
- Serving less than 6 months remaining on their sentence.
